Fund Accountant Role

Job Description

We are looking for senior accounting professionals with experience in the Financial Services industry to fill our team. Please reach out if interested.

Roles and Responsibilities:

We are currently looking for an accountant to join EAC's fund accounting team. As part of the team, you will serve as a strategic and collaborative partner to internal and external parties as you manage the financial processes related to our outsourced CFO business. Specifically, you will be responsible for:

Understanding complex fund structures and reviewing organizational charts and fund legal documents as it relates to both hedge and private equity funds.
Managing relationships and deliverables with multiple clients daily while providing on-going back-office support.
Working closely with our operations team to ensure the accurate and timely booking of client investment activity.
Maintaining shadow books and records for numerous clients including fund level accruals, expenses, and capital activity.
Coordinate with third-party administrators to manage daily, monthly, and annual reporting, including financial statements and regulatory filings.
Ensure the accuracy and completeness of the monthly NAVs of the funds, including management/incentive fee calculations, investment level PnL, NAV sign off and review/approval of investor statements.
Oversee financial audits and assist with requests from external providers.

Skills and Requirements

3-6 years of accounting, financial services, or asset management experience
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or Business
CPA a plus
Strong knowledge of monthly close process and procedures
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Knowledge of Eze Eclipse/Enfusion a plus
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multi-task and work in challenging fast paced and evolving environment
Commitment to the highest ethical standards
